Amber your jewelry brand is self titled. Can you tell us more about your design background and how you got started in the jewelry world.
I grew up in such a creative family, My grandfather founded Instyle Watches, developing the renowned Pierre Cardin brand of watches in Australia / NZ. Growing up surrounded by the design process, it was only natural to combine my love of accessories and create a jewellery brand!
What was your first job ever?
I was a nanny. I also looked after my little sisters which was a reward in itself!
Tell us about the moment when you realized you were a successful jewelry designer?
The highlight of my job would be when I'm on location directing a shoot, seeing my designs come to life gives me the ultimate rush. To see any of my pieces worn with such confidence is a great feeling.

What is your favorite part of the design process and is there anything you don't particularly like?
My favourite part would be selecting the marble or stones I am using for that collection. The unique shape and formations gives me a burst of creativity that I will then use to finalise my pieces.
Describe your customer in three words:
Unique, chic and confident.
What designers do you love and look to for design inspiration?
I love designers like Dior and Ellery. While on my travels I find such inspiration from independent free spirited designers who give me the confidence to try that something different.
What do you see as being the hottest new trend we are going to be seeing in jewelry?
I would say statement earrings. With Summer just around the corner in Australia ( please hurry up ) we can't stop dreaming of sun kissed skin, salty hair tied in a knot and statement jewellery.

Who are your two favorite instagramers currently?
What do you love to do when you are not working?
I find it so difficult to turn off from work. From walking around art galleries, travelling, to photography I constantly have my brand on my mind. Winding down, practising yoga or reading a good book curled up in the sun would have to be the ultimate way to relax.
Last, what is your most treasured piece of jewelry that you own and why?
I have a few. My Diamond letter A necklace I received as a gift for my 18th, The Tennis Bracelet I received for my 21st and my gold Rolex I received for my 30th.
